Meet Minnie

Minnie Golledge is our relational firecracker and service support coordinator, the “connections department” ensuring everyone is looked after and that the lines of communication are open.

Growing up in Fiji, Minnie was quick to question the suppression of individual rights. Being subjected to political unrest in an idyllic paradise made her realise her passion for fighting for the underdogs. She chose to study psychology at the University of Waikato, graduating with a major in Women’s Studies and a postgraduate diploma in crisis management.

Minnie took a detour and worked in the media industry for over 20 years while raising a family. Woke up in her 40’s and decided she wanted to go back to what held more meaning for her…health and safety. She attended Health & Safety Level 1, 2 & 3 training, and keeping people safe in their workplace has become a new passion. If you’ve ever been on the receiving end of Minnie’s enthusiasm, you’ll know what a powerful force that can be.

Minnie is now in her 50’s and remarried to Chris who is English and together they have raised a blended family of 3 boys and 1 girl. This has allowed her to appreciate living in a culturally diverse environment. Another passion of Minnie’s is fitness. She has run a CrossFit gym with her husband who is a level 1 CrossFit coach. She has also trained for a bodybuilding competition and plans to compete in the near future. This is quite an ambitious goal as this girl loves her Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc and blue cheese.

Personal development, physical as well as professional and psychosocial, is a driving force and she loves to encourage others in their own development. It’s part of her job to ensure everyone on the Emendas team is looking after their own well-being!

Minnie lives by the motto “Live your life. Don’t let your life live you”. Thank you, Pitbull!

Building positive relationships is her strength; her Predictive Index profile calls her a “Persuader”. We won’t be arguing with that assessment.
